By engaging Kilani Jewellery, online and/or in person in any of our locations, Kilani Jewellery is at liberty, until otherwise notified by you, to collect, use and disclose your personal information and you accordingly consent to such collection, use and disclosure in accordance with the express provisions of this our Privacy Policy.

Kilani Jewellery maintains a detailed record of purchases made with our company. Should you shop with Kilani Jewellery, either in-store or on-line, we will store any information that you provide to us including, but not limited to, your personal contact information. Kilani Jewellery will only collect personal information that you have voluntarily provided to us. We may also collect personal information from you when you make on-line purchases including your name, e-mail and postal addresses, phone number(s), encrypted credit card information, and product interest information, as well as any information you provide by updating your online profile, or by signing into the website using a connected social media platform.

Additionally, Kilani Jewellery may collect information about your device and geolocation when you interact with our digital platforms. This occurs as a consequence of logging information provided by your device when you connect to our website, or to a Wi-Fi portal at one of our retail locations, such as the OS, device type, screen resolution, IP address and MAC address. This information is used by Kilani Jewellery to help improve our digital services, to better understand the demographics of our customers, and to improve the way we design, stock and staff our stores.

- To process on-line orders and to facilitate necessary service to our customers, such as for example, providing answers to inquiries respecting the status of such orders.

- To keep the Kilani Jewellery public informed about Kilani Jewellery events, promotions, and exclusive offerings. In this regard, and as aforementioned, unless otherwise notified by you, our retail sales staff and/or corporate e-commerce department may contact you via telephone, e-mail or regular mail to keep you informed about new and exciting products available in our stores or on-line, in addition to keeping you apprised of company and store special events, sales and other promotional matters that may be of interest.

- During a visit to a Kilani Jewellery store, you may be asked for your personal contact information or other lifestyle information pertinent to your shopping preferences and habits. This information may be keyed into our customer database and is stored with your purchase history information with a view to enhancing our service and, ultimately, your shopping experience.

Kilani Jewellery is not obligated to procure any such policies and you are encouraged to inquire directly with any such independent company in this regard.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. You acknowledge, in part, that Kilani Jewellery cannot control how your personal information is managed by third parties, including without limitation, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tik Tok.

In addition, you acknowledge and appreciate that, if and when required by lawful authority, including without limitation, Court Order or valid search warrant, Kilani Jewellery must provide your personal information. You also acknowledge that Kilani Jewellery may disclose your personal information to its solicitors or to a valid and subsisting debt collection agency in order to assist us in collecting a debt owed by you to Kilani Jewellery.

For security, safety and liability purposes we use CCTV cameras in all of our store locations. Information recorded by such cameras is retained for a short period unless needed in connection with an investigation. Notices advising of the use of such cameras are posted in our stores. By visiting one of our stores, you consent to our use of such cameras and the recording of your information. Video evidence will only be provided to the authorities for lawful purposes and in connection with an investigation of suspected offence.

Kilani Jewellery is committed to ensuring that your personal information is kept secure.

We keep the personal information we collect about you strictly confidential. We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized disclosure, use, alteration and destruction of the personal information we have about you.

Access to your personal information by Kilani Jewellery representatives and associates is strictly limited to a need-to-know basis. Kilani Jewellery associates receive special training regarding privacy protection and are made aware of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal information. All computers on which personal information is stored are password protected.

Should you later engage Kilani Jewellery, in person, or online, your withdrawal of consent will be at an end and Kilani Jewellery will once again be permitted to regain access to your personal information and to use such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy as amended from time to time.

Amendments to our Privacy Policy, once posted to Kilani Jewellery’s website, will take effect immediately.

Similarly, withdrawals of consent to abide by Kilani Jewellery’s Privacy Policy should be explicitly stated in writing and by email to our Privacy Officer at the email provided in the immediately preceding paragraph.

Withdrawals of consent will result in a suspension of a customer’s ability to conduct business with Kilani Jewellery unless and until the withdrawal is explicitly revoked and consent once again reinstated or deemed to have been reinstated as a result of your actions, including without limitation, accessing of our online sites and applications and/or purchasing from one of our store locations.

Kilani Jewellery will endeavor to answer your questions and advise you of any steps taken to address the issues raised by you. If you are dissatisfied with our response, you may be entitled to make a written submission to the Privacy Commissioner in your jurisdiction.
